Purpose of the Resilience Engineering Network

The purpose of the network is to facilitate the communication and distribution of ideas and results pertaining to resilience engineering, as well as to pool resources. The latter is important both in the service of research and in the service of practical problem solving, industry related projects, research initiatives, etc.

The requirements to establish a RE node are straightforward. Each node must as a minimum have a person as an identified point-of-contact as well as a documented work strategy or programme. Additional information can include names of other people engaged in the activity, specific projects (past and present), events, publications, etc. Other items may be added as we gain experience with the network.
